Boy Scout Troop 73 is located in Gettysburg, PA. We are members of the Battlefield District within the New Birth of Freedom Council. Our Scout Troop is proud to be sponsored by the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church (The church that Lincoln and Eisenhower attended).
The Boy Scouts is not just a camping club or sports team. The lessons taught through Scouting will benefit a scout for the rest of his life. The three goals of Scouting are Character, Citizenship Training, and Mental and Physical Fitness. This is accomplished through our outdoor program, individual advancement and junior leadership training. The values we teach are in the Scout Oath and Scout Laws and are the foundation of the Scouting movement. Troop 73 strongly believes in these values and our goal is to help young men become the leaders and role models of tomorrow.
